About Northern Books:
Northern Books is a small publishing company and literary agency based in Pennsylvania USA, celebrating dozens of titles sold and published since 2007. We bring the best of both worlds to the table -- offering the personal client attention of a small agency and the clout of a large agency. As accomplished authors who have been published both professionally and self-published, we know firsthand there are many routes you can take to complete the publishing process. You can spend months and sometimes years submitting your manuscript to agents and publishers, and a majority of the time your manuscript is deleted, unread. As an alternative, you choose to self-publish, but the process is a long and complicated process that tends to feel like you are trapped in a nightmare, not to mention trying to find a professional editor to edit your masterpiece at an affordable price. We at Northern Books want to change all that. We want to make the process as easy, convenient and affordable as possible.
Northern Books takes the hassle out of publishing and completes the process for you.

A Personal Message from Donna Kshir:
In 2007, I began writing a column for The Clinton County Record. My topics were always controversial, but that stood me aside from the rest. In early 2008, I was approached to write an autobiography. Over the next few years, I would go on to work for a number of publishing companies. Some were traditional publishing companies and for others, I was hired as a freelance writer. I was receiving a mere 7-10% of sales. I was happy living my dream job, but not close to where I wanted to be as a writer. After two years, I learned the tricks of the trade, so to speak, and started my own publishing company. From personal experience you can spend months and sometimes years submitting your manuscript to agents and publishers, and a majority of the time your manuscript is deleted, unread. As an alternative you choose to self-publish, but the process is a long and complicated process that tends to feel like you are trapped in a nightmare, not to mention trying to find a professional editor at an affordable price is unheard of. My goal at Northern Books is to change all that. I want to make the process as easy, convenient and affordable as possible. I want to see you succeed!!
